I was diagnosed with dyslexia in third grade and everything made sense. It made sense that I had a difficult time reading, writing and even doing math. I was in special dyslexia classes up until 7th grade, when I finally tested out. Trust me, I was not too fond of leaving my regular classes to go to a class that made me feel less smart, all because of my learning disability. But now, I understand the reasoning behind those classes; I was taught different ways to adapt and use these techniques to my advantage. I have a little sister and when she needs help with school work, I am always there to help.
