I'm a self-employed writer and English tutor who has been caring for infants and children for more than 50 years as a big sister, Au pair in Paris, and a nanny during graduate school. From December 2012 until January 2015, I was in a very happy share, caring for children who ranged in age from one month to 2. I am eager to start a new job immediately, and I am also available for short-term and occasional assignments.
I regard childcare as a valuable service and a delightful occupation that draws on both my intelligence and my intuition. I have toilet-trained several toddlers and taught two 2-year-old kids to read, and I encourage consideration, manners, and a love of learning. My clients value this engagement with their children, and they appreciate my sophistication, candor and poise; that s why I've received 16 five-star reviews on Care.com. Kids of all ages like me because I'm warm, gentle, and playful. (My pet bunny, who visits on invitation, also helps ensure my popularity.)
Ideally, my next permanent position will be roughly 40 hours a week, permitting me at least one weekday or weekday morning off, and no more than 30 minutes by bicycle or public transit. I have a license and an immaculate record, but I don't own a vehicle. I am certified in CPR and First Aid for infants and children.
If I sound like someone you want in your family's life, please contact me at your earliest convenience. After we talk, I ll be delighted to share my extensive background information.
