When I first arrived in the US back in 2004, my first job was taking care of a lovely elderly man who had Parkinson's disease. It was then I realized that my calling is helping the elderly and making sure that they are comfortable and well taken care of. I then went to school for phlebotomy and received my certificate. I am currently working at Greenwich Hospital and have been there for several years now. I mostly do home draws and visit the elderly patients in their home to draw blood. It's a good opportunity for me to make sure that they are well taken care of and provided with respect they deserve. With my schedule change, it allows me take up an extra job after my shift at the hospital and what better way to do it but with what I know best to do.
