About Laurie

I have a degree in Naturopathic Medicine from the National College (now University) of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR. The entire time I was in school I worked as a certified nursing assistant, mainly with seniors. Many years ago I worked at Arbor Square in Seattle... a first of its kind Alzheimer's care facility. I am a Naturopathic Doctor and have a strong interest in alternative health care. I also have personal experience dealing with family members who have dementia. Recently, I completed training to become an End of Life Doula. I have done hospice work and am currently a hospice volunteer.
