I have worked in education for over 10 years, from assisting students with special needs to teaching 4th graders how to classify water insects at a stream. I currently split my time between parenting my own twin toddlers* and teaching at the local science center. I'm starting to crave more, and decided that having fun with kids outside of home and work will help me branch out. When I'm with your kids, I'm 100% engaged in their physical, emotional and mental well-being. I like to get kids outside whenever possible, encourage them to be curious about nature, and teach them to be independent safely. I do not use screen time unless needed for school. I'm happy to prepare meals, help with dishes or laundry, and generally make parents' lives easier. Reach out if you need a night off, or a day to get things done. If you need the kids out of the house, I'm all about exploring playgrounds and trails. Bottom line: I love kids! *I do not bring my own kids to babysitting jobs.
