Just before graduating college I interned for 500 hours at a domestic violence shelter where I witnessed and worked with many children with special needs and cognitive disabilities. I have a beautiful cousin whom needs full care 24/7 and has multiple special needs and needs a regulated schedule. I grew up knowing the amount of effort and compassion you need to work with these kids and love working with this population. I'm passionate about helping any child who has needs. I'm very empathetic and put my heart into each child/person I'm working with.
