About Lauren

I have always gravitated towards working with children. I began babysitting for my younger sister/family friends at a young age and continued to do so throughout High School. During High School I participated in an Early Childhood class for two years where we were taught how to teach and worked with preschoolers several times per week. I am pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. I have worked at two licensed daycares, the first as an Assistant Teacher and the second as a Lead Teacher. I have also been a nanny for a few families. I am a lot like a kid myself, and that is what makes me an amazing candidate and addition to any family as their nanny. I'm fun. I love to draw/color/do crafts, I enjoy reading and singing. I love to play games whether it be physical ones or electronic. I love animals and I probably love Disney more than your children ever could. I'm a little awkward at times, but once you give me a chance and get to know who I am I promise I will surprise you!
