I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old, and have been nannying, mostly full-time, for almost 10 years. Throughout these past seven years, I have held both live-in and live-out positions. I have cared for children of all ages, from newborn to middle schoolers, and I also have some experience with autism. I'm very active and like to get the kids I nanny out and about as much as possible! Some things I've done with children I've cared for in the past include nature walks, beach days, music classes, library excursions, and zoos, museums, and aquariums in a pre-COVID world. !

I know Lauren through her work for my daughter. Lauren cared for 2 of my granddaughters (ages 4 and 2) while I care for 1 granddaughter (age 2). Lauren and I arranged many play dates for the cousins to get together. We spent many hours at my daughter's house, my house and many venues that appeal to young children. I found Lauren to be an engaged, kind, caring, responsible and mature young woman. Lauren always provided a variety of nutritious food for picnics and snacks. The granddaughter I care for always loved to see "Miss Lauren" because Lauren would participate in active play and would accompany all of the little ones on the gym equipment and other play opportunities that Grandma doesn't do. Lauren was quick to respond with comfort when one of her charges was hurt or upset. She handled meltdowns and toddler crises very calmly and with firmness. I felt completely comfortable that my grandchildren were in good hands.
