I have worked with a vast array of special needs children, and I absolutely love it. I have worked with children who had feeding tubes (G-buttons) and tracheotomies. I have specialized in working with children with Autism and Asperger's Syndrome. I have experience with low-functioning to high-functioning, as well as Echolalia, "rants", non-verbal children, and tantrums. I believe that the very best way to deal with special needs children is with tons of love, compassion, and nurturing. I have endless patience. I am looking for a long-term family to grow with.
