About Lauren
Hi! My name is Lauren, and I am a certified TEFL/TESOL Teacher, Animal Lover, and Conscious Caregiver. I provide a holistic approach to caregiving inspired by my extensive training with Craniosacral Therapy, Relationship Coaching, and Ayurveda Nutrition. My heart-felt intention is to create meaning and value to every child through conscious activities and using body, mind, and spirit. Planting herbs, art/music/movement therapy, healthy cooking projects, guided breathing and imagery, imaginative thinking, and positive self-talk, are some examples of what I implement into your child's learning experience. I am all about creation and inspiration! Because I am highly dedicated to help develop the minds and hearts of our young children in a conscious approach, my rates are higher than a normal caregiver. My daughter absolutely loves having Lauren tutor her, as do we. Her lesson plans are effective and she used multiple resources and methods of delivery. Lauren integrates unique learning activities to keep learning exciting such as practicing yoga or growing crystals and herbs. She has been instrumental in my daughters learning. Since we hired her in January my daughter went from not being able to read or write to reading full books and writing complete sentences. Lauren always has a kind and patient demeanor. She is always punctual, reliable, and effectively communicates any concerns and commendations. I would love to recommend Lauren as a tutor for your child.
