Hello-A little bit about me! I have 2 daughters (23, 27)and am an empty nester. I'm currently a middle school learning support special educator. I have been teaching (elementary, middle, high school)for 25 years. As a special educator, I've been able to connect with students who have all types of disabilities. I am a patient, enthusiastic person who loves spending time outdoors. I am often contacted by former students who have graduated to thank me for my help. I pride myself in offering a structured learning experience, but am flexible and design lessons to meet the needs of each individual student. I love to see my students make progress educationally, socially, and emotionally. I have an open door policy for my students during 8th grade lunch. Students know that when they're having peer issues or need help with work, they have a safe place to go. Covid has made life challenging. I'm interested in helping your child transition back to school or into the community in any way possible!
