I have been lucky enough to have had the opportunity to work with special needs individuals and their families for over 20 years. I have experience working with several different diagnoses including spinal muscular atrophy, cerebral palsy, autism, down syndrome, ADHD & multiple forms of other developmental & physical disabilities. I have cared for children of all ages, ranging from birth to 22 years of age. I am an RN employed with the State of California at Sonoma Developmental Center, but was recently laid off due to facility closures. Prior to my state employment I worked for the Solano County Office of Education as an RN in the Special Education Department where I traveled throughout the county working with and caring for students in classes and programs ranging from preschool to adult transition. In the many years prior to my RN licensing I had the pleasure of working privately for amazing families & caring for their loved ones.
