I recently left a job as a Montessori Lead Guide for ages 15 months-3 years, but I have Montessori training from ages 0-3 in general and regular babysitting experience with children of all ages in school settings. I have a degree in Neuroscience from Oberlin College where I dedicated a lot of my time to research brain development in our young ones and the importance of mental stimulation. I am old enough to have lots of experience, yet young enough to keep up with children of all ages. I have been babysitting since I was 14 years old, and I'm currently 26. I have stellar reviews from any and every family I have ever worked with. I believe in respecting the child at all times and learning to see them for who they are. Having worked in a school setting, I have been confronted with all kinds of big personalities in little people and challenging behaviors. I see all those as opportunities for the child, and adult to grow and learn to communicate needs. I'm here for you!
