I am a special education teacher who has worked with children and adults with and without special needs for 12+ years. I babysat for many years during high school and college and turned my passion for teaching into a career. I have a background in Adapted physical education and have worked with children and adults in both educational and recreational settings. I currently teach multiply disabled students in 3rd -5th grade and I LOVE my job! During the summer, I am hoping to find a job working with children or adults with special needs in academic or recreational settings . I have experience working with individuals with Autistic spectrum disorders, autism, developmental delays, cognitive disorders, traumatic brain injuries, learning disabilities, behavioral disorders, as well as many others. I am first aide certified and have a basic knowledge of American sign language . I look forward to learning more about you and your needs!
