3 years ago, I was on a mission trip where I spent a week with children with special needs. After this trip, our youth group began a special needs ministry. For 3 years now, I have ran this ministry. I am extremely passionate about kids and kids with special needs and have such a great love for them. I love getting the chance to get to know the kids, love on them, and show them that they're awesome! I plan to become a special education teacher. All of my special needs work has been completely volunteer. In the ministry, I work with kids age 5 to adults aged 21. I worked in a preschool for 3 hours everyday this last school year in a special education classroom with kids aged 3-5.
