About Kyla

I approach childcare with curiosity and patience, knowing every child learns in their own way. I hold a Masters in Sustainability from Harvard and work professionally in the arts, curation and environmental nonprofits based in Austin. I've taught workshops and lessons for kids across Texas in both arts and science blending education with hands on creativity. Parents and teachers describe me as patient, reliable, and creative and I enjoy sparking joy through art, music, games, and storytelling. I make communication a priority whether through text, calls or in person updates and always follow the method parents prefer. I'm comfortable providing care by the household's lead, but I'm also confident in taking initiative with structure and activities when needed. I offer one on one care and can also help with cooking carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision. I have completed first aid and CPR classes and I'm dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment.
