Hi, my name is Kyfer, I have a background in Mental Health and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I graduated from school with a degree in Cognitive Psychology. After a job in mental health dealing with adults, children, and elderly in crisis, I decided I wanted to go my own way and become a personal helper. My job as a Special Needs Concierge would be helping the child or adult by being supportive, happy, friendly, and fun. I would also use mild redirection techniques when times get tense. I use many different approaches to deescalate situations, but I don't agree with the iron fist approach to dealing with those who have special needs and are in crisis. The clients I work with are all beautiful, amazing people. My job is to make them happy, safe, and be supportive when things get rocky.
