Kristine seemed pleasant on the phone and said she had us on her schedule to watch my children on a Saturday. This date was planned and agreed on at least a week before the phone interview. I checked in with her the morning of the date she was planned to watch my children (in fact several hours before the planned on time) and she told me she was out of town. She told me that I shouldn't plan on "short notice." She essentially blamed me for her poor communication. If you want employment, it is your job to communicate with your employer. This could've put us in a really tight spot.
