My name is Kristina and I am 28 years old and work for the Sacramento County Office of Edu. in a Severe Young Adult Transition class. I have been in the care-giving business since high school. I started off babysitting, then that developed into providing respite services through college. I have experience in not only the classroom and public but I have also worked eight seasons at a camp for children and adults with disabilities ranging from Autism to intellectual and/or behavioral disorders to physical disabilities and so on. From respite I did Substitute Teaching and now a teacher. I am experienced, reliable, and active. I am the kind of caregiver who encourages outdoor activities, walks, and games with your permission. I understand that your child/young adult is most precious to you and if you would like to hire me, I will not do anything to jeopardize their safety or well being.

Kristina was a respite service provider for my 10 year old son who had brain injury at birth. From my experience with her, I can assure you that she is responsible, reliable, and compassionate. My son is my treasure and each time my husband and I left our son in Kristina's care, we knew that our treasure was in the safest hands. If I say that my son loved her, that pretty much says it all. Kristina would often take him on hiking excursions or to the beach near our house, which can become a challenge even for us parents. However, because she understood how much my son enjoys himself in nature, she took on the task gladly. She is also a great communicator who always notified us of the day's events and answered all of our questions with candor. I have no doubt that she will be a great addition to the organization and wholeheartedly recommend Kristina for the position she is seeking.
