I worked with people with special needs roughly 10 years. I am looking to provide love and support and patience as well teach independence. In the past, I tried other things, but realized that this is where my passion lies. I also have a family member with special needs who I've also taken care of. She's a joy to be around. I'm currently working as a Lead of a group home, and I also work as a PCA for those with special needs. My goal is to always be patient and to teach those with special need to be more independent and to live as productive citizens. I treat them with respect and dignity, and that we are the same.
