May 2, 2013 To Whom It May Concern: My name is Susan W., I am the principal at a school and it is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Ms. Kristie P. I have had the opportunity to work with Ms. P. during the 2012-2013 school year. At our school Ms. P. serves many roles. Her main role is that of a one on one educational technician with a middle school student. In that role Ms. P. works closely with her student's teachers and therapist so that she can provide him with the appropriate type of support in the most appropriate manner. She follows up with PT and OT goals throughout the school day and has daily communication through a journal with her student's parents. Ms. P. goes above and beyond to support her student and to encourage him to try new things. She even gets in the pool with him during his PE classes. If an activity is going to help her student grow and gain confidence she will do what it takes to get him to try it and to be successful. Ms. P. is the class advisor for the class of 2013. She has done a good job leading this class so that they have everything they need in order to have a positive graduation experience. Ms. P. also works in our athletic department keeping the scorebook or the clock at various athletic contests. If an activity is happening here you are more than likely going to see Ms. P. supporting the students and helping out in some fashion. Ms. P. is what I would consider an outstanding "school person". She gives of her time without hesitation to support events and activities sponsored by the school. She is a strong advocate for students and goes above and beyond to support them.
