About Kristen

Hello! My name is Kristen and I am currently seeing a tutoring position for this upcoming summer. I recently earned a Master of Education in Reading and Language from the University of Massachusetts (2022). Prior to this, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education (1-6) and English from Assumption College (2014). I have gained eight years of classroom teaching experience. Specifically, I have gained experience teaching second, third, fourth, and a multi-age fourth and fifth grade at Mittineague Elementary School located in West Springfield, MA. I have also gained experience teaching S. T. E. A. M. courses at Manchester Community College (Excursions in Learning Youth Program) located in Manchester, CT. I am passionate about teaching reading, writing, math, and science. I appreciate your consideration and look forward to discussing the ways I can support you and your child this upcoming summer.
