Kim worked with my 10 year old twins who are on the autism spectrum. She was with us for a year and a half and unfortunately I had to let her go so we could attend therapy outside of the state. She did a terrific job with both of my kids and continues to do an awesome job with them when I call her for occasional respite. Both my kids can be very challenging at times and Kim always remains calm and respectful. I love the fact that she can be kind and fun, yet firm when the situation calls for it. My daughter is currently non-verbal, yet she speaks to her as if she fully understands her and treats her with the utmost respect. Kim also has a very fun-loving side to her and has no problem with playing board games or a good game of pretend. I also like the fact that when the kids are napping, she will look for things to do in the home like fold socks or wash up the dishes, she is an extremely hard worker. I have also hired Kim to care for our home while we were away on vacation. Kim is also very trustworthy and she leaves are home in an orderly fashion with all of our desired projects completed.
