I have worked with children who have severe developmental disabilities in the past. I worked as a teacher aide and a long-term substitute for five years through DESE at Maple Valley MSSD. I have training in PBS, first aid and CPR, tube feedings and the administration of Diastat for severe seizures. I'm currently working on my BA at UCM and will graduate in May. I understand that each child with a disability is unique in their own way and I'm dedicated to helping them improve their life in whatever way needed. I understand the importance of following visual schedules and routines as well as maintaining skills. Because of my school schedule, I'm on available on an occasional basis but feel free to contact me to see if we can work a schedule out!
