I have been a senior caregiver since 2006. I worked for an agency for a short time, but decided to go on my own in 2009. I felt I could offer so much more. I am very close to my clients and their families. I work for wonderful people and have great references. I am outgoing, loving, caring, trustworthy and reliable. I want you to feel that your loved one is getting the best care while you're away. I work with Alzheimer's disease but can take care of anyone in need. I have taken care of clients who have had a stroke, heart problems, Alzheimer's disease, cancer, needed assistance after surgery or had wounds. There is nothing I can't do. I was in the orthodontic field for 18 years and felt this is what I am to do now. I take care of seniors or people who just need some assistance. I decided this after I had so many problems finding the right person to take care of my grandmother who had Alzheimer's disease. At that time I truly found out that we need more trusting, loving caregivers who love what they do. I took my grandmother in my home and cared for her. I took courses to understand what I could do to make her life better. That's when I knew this line of work was my calling.
