We all need touch. As adults there are many inconsistencies in the level of touch we receive. I am to fill those gaps. Cuddle time without the complications. Touch has the power to comfort us when we are sad, heal us when e are sick, encourage us when we feel lost, and above all else allow us to accept that we are not alone. When we experience touch it gives us physical, mental and emotional well-being. Touch releases two hormones: oxytocin and vasopressin that are important for social bonding and survival. Touch has been known to lower stress levels, help control chronic pain levels, lower blood pressure, stimulate brain growth and mental development in children as well as meet the physical needs of special needs children who often require a much higher amount of physical touch than the average person.
