*CURRENTLY ONLY TAKING WEEKEND CLIENTS* I have been working in East Oakland as an educator with students with IEPs and social-emotional needs for 5 years. Additionally, I have tutored and cared for an elementary-age student with down-syndrome for 2 years as well. After that, I worked as an aide to a student with ADHD and accompanied them to summer camp. Beyond this, I have experience with students with autism/Asperger's and students who have experienced trauma. I do not use an ABA approach with the kids that I work with and will not engage with children in such a manner for ethical reasons. If you are not comfortable with this then we are not a good fit. As a teacher and someone who is currently in graduate school nannying is supplemental income. My availability for full-time work is limited to the summers and school breaks, EXCLUSIVELY.
