HELLO! I'm Kelsey, a fun loving, active 28-year-old. I am currently a Special Needs instructional aide in Lexington, MA for my second year. I am very excited to be a part of the Special Needs world. I have learned so much, and love learning new things to help make these kids lives more enjoyable every day. At school I assist in mobility, hygiene, inclusion, modifying education plans as well as facilitating conversations and relationships with peers and other teachers, all while helping them learn small steps in becoming more and more independent. In addition to my Special Education experience, I have been taking care of children since I was 13 ranging in ages as young as 5 months old up to high school. I have taken on many roles over the years as a babysitter, mentor, coach, and teacher. Having a role in the education field has been so rewarding for me, as I love being paid in smiles and love :) Feel free to ask any questions about my prior and current experiences! Thanks
