Hello, I am currently looking for some additional hours preferably in the mornings and early afternoon as I work with another client after school, around 1:30. I want to become a speech therapist and I'm currently applying to different schools in the area for next year. I have about 6-8 years of experience working with children with special needs and it runs from doing ABA, to working at day camps, working in group homes and currently working on intensive individual support services and implementing speech or occupational therapy goals. I've dipped into many areas and have been all over the place, in my search to find the right place for me and I love the work! I love being able to teach someone to not only express themselves, but to develop their own independence and with the parents and therapists' (if they have them) help, I'm confident there's nothing we can't do with time and patience!
