I am a 28-year-old Speech Language Pathologist for Baltimore County Public Schools that Is looking for full/part time children, adult, and/or pet care for the summer. I am willing to do overnight care, house hold chores, and errands such as groceries. I have been a personal care assistant for a 21-year-old boy with severe OCD helping with daily living activities including eating, dressing, driving, school attendance and note taking, homework, and maintaining doctor appointments. I was a personal care assistant for a 5-year-old female with severe aversion to food, Pica, ADHD, and developmental delays helping with activities of daily living including eating, dressing, and stimulating language and pragmatic skills through play. I also assisted her 9-year-old sister with depression by encouraging given coping strategies to reduce anxiety while carrying out daily tasks and nightly suicide watch. I also have experience with being a caretaker for my grandmother for 3 years after she had a right hemisphere stroke and had paresis in the left side of her body. I helped her complete her therapy exercises and activities including eating, shopping, cleaning, and balancing her check book and paying bills. I also have experience with animals as I volunteered at an animal welfare organization to be a bunny buddy, cat cuddler, and dog walker (including Pit Bulls). I grew up with Labrador Retrievers, have rescued 3 cats, and have pet sat for family and friends for years. I am a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Maryland and Pennsylvania. I have my national certification of clinical competency, my background check, and clearances.
