About Kelly

I am a K-12 certified Spanish teacher, with experience at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. I have a passion for languages and cultures - I can tutor French and Japanese as well as Spanish. I feel very comfortable tutoring for test preparation, language arts, and other curricular classes, as I have spent most of my career working in school environments and have taken multiple standardized tests. I understand curriculum, and how to pace learning and target different types of learners. I love to incorporate hands-on activities to promote engagement. I am an avid sewer, piano player, and dog trainer as well. I am reliable, professional, and patient. I love to make the learning process fun, and to pass along my skills! I am working on growing a small educational business, so I have a variety of educational resources to supplement lessons. Plus, I am experienced in homeschooling as well.
