Hi! My name is Kayla and I'm 24 years old. I have been babysitting/caregiving since the age of 11. I previously did the Disney college program and am currently a registered behavior technician! I previously was a nanny to a family with 4 kids and love them with all my heart like family! I currently am majoring in behavior science and have a huge passion for special needs. I was an assistant teacher for a special education class at my high school. In the past I've taught summer camps and different preschool lessons for area preschools. I worked as a party host and childcare provider in an inflatable fun park. I previously worked at a daycare and I worked in there toddler classroom with children 15-24 months and in their infant room with children 6 weeks-15 months. I am CPR/First Aid/ AED certified as well as safety care trained. A little about me besides working in childcare is I LOVE Disney and boy bands and I love animals!! I cannot recommend Kayla highly enough. She is deeply compassionate, engaging at all levels and flexible with both adults and kids. Kayla was phenomenal with our medically complex 4 year old. She quickly got a feel for her medical needs and, because she took the time to prepare before, was able to independently care for our daughter immediately. Our daughter is non-verbal, so it can be challenging to determine how to make her comfortable and how to appropriately engage her. Kayla made it a priority to learn her cues and keep her comfortable and happy. To top it off, she somehow managed to simultaneously entertain our energetic 8 year old. I genuinely look forward to having Kayla take care of my children again!
