I've been a swim coach for 14 years, and have taught individuals with disabilities how to swim. I was a student teacher in a first grade classroom at Phillips Academy last summer, a level 5 special education school. During my high school years I worked one-on-one with students with disabilities, and aided them in the classroom. During this time I also chaperoned Special Olympic events, and other activates involving the students in the special needs program.
