I have a 14-year-old sister who was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, on the severe side of the spectrum, when she was 18 months old. Because of this, I have lifelong experience in working with Special Needs, and specifically autistic individuals. I have taken part in a wide array of service and employment opportunities revolving around those with Special Needs. These activities include, but are not limited to, coaching and hosting a county for Boston and Philadelphia Special Olympics, managing a team for the Autism Speaks Walk for 7 years, and nannying for children with autism and Asperger's syndrome. I have held a position at a small MA school for children with autism for the past two summers, and still hold this position. I am ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), SOLVE, and First Aid Certified.
