I have a passion for caring for other people. For 30+ years I have found myself being the one to help out in a variety of different caregiving situations. Besides basic companionship and household assistance, I have provided non-RN type after surgery recovery care, transportation to doctor, hospital and surgery appointments, post-stroke care, in-patient visits, medication management, end of life care, whatever was needed on an individual basis. One size does not fit all! I have also discovered myself to be especially drawn to end of life doula work after many unforgettable experiences. After being my Dad's carer until his death late 2015, I returned to the workforce doing what I love - providing love and care to others. In 2020 my Mom needed me until her passing early 2023. As I again return to work, I still know of nothing else I would rather do. If you or your loved one is in need of some extra TLC, at home or in a facility, I would LOVE to hear from you!

Kathryn P. was a godsend. I am a full time care giver and I needed a break. I’ve tried working with health agencies but the problem with them is that you have no way of interviewing the people they send. It was very disheartening. Care.com connected me with many candidates that may have worked well. I really liked Kathryn’s response to my ad. I interviewed her (found out she literally lived around the corner) and hired her to care for my patient while I took 4 days off. She was amazing. She connected with the client immediately (we did several trial runs prior to my trip). So supportive. So caring. He was her first priority. And she took excellent care of my two cats. While I was gone, my condo had a slab leak. I gave Kathryn the contact info to have it taken care of. She handled it beautifully. Over and above!! I can’t recommend her enough.
