I am an experienced special needs caregiver with a masters degree and 10+ years experience working with ASD, ADHD, speech and language disorders; and sensory and behavioral issues. Originally from Ireland, I am a PADI Scuba Diving Instructor, an Adaptive Specialty Diving Instructor; and a swimming instructor. I have previously worked in both school and home settings with children with a variety of diagnosis aged between 18 months and 18 years. I have worked in collaboration with occupational therapists, speech and language therapists; and mental health workers. I previously worked as a full time scuba instructor on the island of Roatan, Honduras. I have taught at the Family Dive Club summer camp in Birmingham, AL, and have also worked as a YMCA swimming instructor teaching children aged 5-12. I have qualifications to teach First Aid, CPR, and AED usage. I am available for full time, part time, or consultation.

Katy has been absolutely incredible and has gone above and beyond with our kiddos, one of whom is a 5 year old with medical complexities and special needs.
