I have been well trained by my perfectionist mother (thanks mom!). I am looking for a part-time housework job and am a college student. I have held housekeeping positions as a full-time summer job (then referred to as "motel maid"). I have had some housekeeping responsibilities such as bed making and laundry as nurse's aide in two nursing homes full-time summer/part-time school year jobs while earning to pay student living expenses. More recently (Summer 2009, AK) I worked in tourist motel housekeeping as needed. I am probably a bit too "thorough" than required for a for-profit housekeeping situation such as in a motel. But, this actually may be somewhat of a plus in a home if, like me, you need or want to rid yourself of as much house dust in obscure corners as possible.
