I am an elementary school teacher and spend my summers caring for my own two cats, one of which enjoys daily outdoor walks on his harness. This cat also suffers from Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disorder, so I am accustomed to caring for cats with urinary issues. My childhood dog (a cockerpoo) was diabetic, and I was his primary caretaker for many years. Caring for my dog included administering daily insulin injections, pills, and eye drops. A skin condition also meant that he needed frequent baths with medicated shampoo. This early experience strengthened my ability to be comfortable around animals that require special care. I am seeking employment opportunities that include dog/cat walking and sitting. I am open to administering medications and providing further care, depending on the situation and level of need.
