To start, I have three younger brothers and was always had a motherly way of taking care of them. I started babysitting for several other families in my neighborhood when I turned 12 and continued to do that all through high school when I wasn't studying or playing tennis. I attended college at UC Davis and had different families I was a nanny for while I was there. One family had newborn twins and a 2-year-old boy when I started, and the other family had middle school and high school aged children, so with that job it was more tutoring and preparing dinner in the afternoons before their parents came home from work. The third family was a family with 3 elementary school aged children and one of the children was autistic. I enjoyed all three very much and am comfortable caring for babies and small children as well older ones. I love, love children and one day would love to have at least three of my own (I am 29 years old).

My husband and I had the pleasure of interviewing Katie back in October when we were having issues with our nanny. I felt compelled to write a review after I read the horrible one that another member posted because it is not a true reflection of her. We have also had people no show on us as well and while it is frustrating, you have to take it in the context that it happens. No one is perfect and emergencies do happen.
We both found her to be extremely professional. She arrived 15 minutes early, brought a resume, had references handy, and had a notepad with her. She took extensive notes while we were talking, asked questions, was very likeable, and respectful. In fact, we nicknamed her "corporate" because she came so well prepared and treated this like a job interview for a corporate position which we loved. She was in our top three candidates and I am confident she would make a great nanny for another family.
