I am currently a Lesley University graduate student working on my Masters in Early Childhood Education (a weekend program). I have spent the last two years working full-time as a nanny for two different families and loved every minute of it. I'm currently searching for new nanny work as my hours have been greatly reduced. Prior to working as a nanny, I worked for a year and a half in an Elementary School in a 2nd grade classroom as a teacher's assistant in an integrated classroom. I worked with children who had ADD, ADHD, ODD, OCD, Anxiety and were on the Autism Spectrum. I also volunteered for a year in a homeless shelter for Horizons for Homeless Children where I cared for and created activities for homeless children. While my professional experience extends far beyond childcare (I used to work in NYC as an EA), I am drawn to work with and care for children. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts and Psychology and enjoy Arts & Crafts (as well as painting/ drawing), being outside in nature and engaging in a healthy and active lifestyle. I would love to offer my tutoring skills and can surely come up with fun, educational and creative activities for your child!
