Hello! I have been working on and off with individuals with special needs since 2018. I worked in a day program with adults for two years helping to lead classes and activities to keep them engaged and thriving. We focused on life skills, education, vocational skills, and recreation. Since October 2021 I have been working with a teen boy with autism in his home part time. We go for walks, practice simple life skills, read together, and work at the table to practice language skills. I do not have specific training in ABA or other professional special education training. I simply enjoy being with individuals with special needs and helping them to have fun while giving their families some much needed respite time.
