I am currently working full time at a Kids R Kids teaching 4-year-olds, but I really miss being a nanny! So I'm looking for a full time nanny position! I am a 23 years old. I have around nine years experience in being a babysitter and a nanny. And over two years experience working in a daycare. At my first Kids R Kids, I was mainly an assistant teacher to prekindergarten children, but I also helped out with all ages, from infants to school age. I am currently working at my second Kids R Kids location, and I have been there since August 2014. I am the lead teacher of the 4-year-old room. With my past daycare, nanny, babysitting and house management experience for my own home, my duties have included: -coming up with educational games and activities nap time; -reading; -arts and crafts; -playing with children; -preparing meal/snack times for children; -music time; -outdoor time; -creating chore charts, reward systems, calendars, emergency info sheets, etc.; -organizing children's room and play areas; -organizing other areas of the home; -cleaning children's rooms; -cleaning children's play areas; -making children's beds; -children's laundry; -making sure children are showered/bathed and ready for bed; -reading good night stories; -taking walks; -scavenger hunts; -going to park or pool; and -potty training and much more!

I am disappointed at how things turned out with Kateley. I didn't even get to meet her after all. I give her two stars because she was prompt to reply the first two times, explained some delays due to her traveling, and then provided me with her cell phone so I could call her to set up an interview. I called and left a message, and I wrote two more messages through Care.com. I even asked her on the last one to let me know if she was "no longer interested or available". But I never heard back from her again. Which is odd because you can see on her Care.com profile that she logs in regularly, most recently yesterday! There are no hard feelings. I know things happen...But the MOST important thing is to communicate always! She may be a wonderful babysitter... But that doesn't matter if she isn't reliable. I wish her luck in the future and maybe this will help her to do better with the next person.
