About Kara

I am a loving, compassionate, patient mother that wanted to be home and raise my daughter, now that she is 16 and is more independent I want to get back to helping others. I realized in 7th grade that I wanted to be in the health care profession. When I volunteered at our local nursing home where I helped with activities, emotional support, and transporting patients around the facility. A goal of mine was to become a CNA after high school. I pursued my goal and became a CNA where I worked at a nursing home doing various duties where I had 16 patients a night and some with dementia. Some of my duties included taking care of there physical and emotional needs, taking care of there vitals, assisting with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, transporting through the facility, and also helped with feeding.
