7 years ago my cousin was born with cerebral palsy, my aunt and uncle were in a very tough position and ended up living with us for over a year. During this time period I was able to see how hard it was on my aunt and uncle, and I was able to experience how rewarding it was to be able to help them and to be able to help Sebastian reach his goals. I went on to be a paraprofessional with the Special Ed department at Connor Academy, loving being able to work with children with Down Syndrome, Autism, Mental Impairments, and Behavioral Problems. I can also read and teach Unified English Braille. I follow a "Love and Logic" philosophy, and absolutely love being able to show children the value responsibility and more importantly, kindness. I am very active and love to get kids moving, keep things exciting, and have them grow, learn, and play in a safe environment. Helping others is the most valuable thing in my life, I am passionate about helping children grow as individuals and helping parents grow in their relationship with their children, in whatever form that may be.

Can't say enough wonderful things about Kaitlyn! She was our neighbor for 7 years, and we hired her several times to babysit our young daughter, and complete various other jobs around our little farm. She was always responsible, timely, and most definitely fun. My daughter adored her. And she always has a smile on her face!
