About Kait

After four years of disability that left me bed-ridden, I'm finally in remission and ready to get back to doing what I love! I like to organize, I love pets, and I love kids. I did most of the raising for my now 10 y/o niece when living with her parents and I understand the great patience, tolerance, pure passion for child care and love that goes into caring for another person. I have a very big family and being the oldest girl I have done all the babysitting from newborns to teenagers along with several years of experience into adulthood using care. com. I'm creative and show lots of interest in children's hobbies and academia. I'm well-versed in gentle (not-permissive) parenting to help guide children with emotional regulating, patience, empathy and understanding. I am currently attending school to finish my Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling and will be available for long-term child care for the next few years.
