I have been a tutor/instructor for a number of subjects full-time for over two years. I was valedictorian of my high school, earned a 4. 0 during my undergraduate studies at Baldwin Wallace University, and am now a graduate student at University of Colorado Boulder. My degree is in Voice Performance and Pedagogy, and I am also a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200). I am virtually fluent in Italian, and have also studied Spanish, German, and French. I have experience tutoring math, English Language Arts, reading, science, SAT prep, music theory, beginner piano, Italian, voice/singing, acting, and yoga. I have taught students ages 6-60+, with a variety of learning styles and learning differences, such as gifted students, students with autism, ADHD, anxiety, dyslexia, etc. My philosophy is centered around adjusting my teaching style to fit the needs of each student, and encouraging creativity to promote intrinsic motivation.

We first hired Kailyn as a babysitter several years ago. She is a lot of fun but also has defined limits and expectations for the kids. They loved her! Years later, we hired her again as a voice teacher for our middle child. Her lessons are individualized for the singer and my daughter bloomed under her mentorship. I cannot offer enough praise to truly reflect Kailyn's talents.
