I first got into the health field when I was 16 and watched my grandpa suffer from Dementia. This made me want to help not only those suffering from an illness but also their loved ones. I started my journey working as a caregiver in a memory care facility. I was responsible for multiple patients providing care for daily living needs such as bathing, dressing, meal prep and feeding assistance. I went to school and earned my CNA certificate where I moved on to work in different areas of the health field, Memory Care, Assisted Living, Home Health, Hospice, Hospital - Oncology Floor and I am currently working as a Dialysis Technician. With each of these different roles came different responsibilities. I was in charge of one on one care in different living environments, house keeping duties, transportation, and all levels of physical care. I also went to school to receive my EMT-B and I am up to date on my CPR.
