I have worked in the field for four years and have personal experience within my family. My uncle has autism and lived with me since I could remember which is why I have such a natural relationship with the "developmentally disabled" population. I also have worked with adults in a community setting and children in a school setting. I am experienced with ADLs, vocational education, academic, behavioral, transfers, and personal care. I would very much like to meet your child and I know I could model and teach them the skills they need to be a successful adult. I have worked with a wide range of abilities, emotional difficulties, and ages. I encourage you to talk to me more about my experience and desire to work with child.
