I help my family take care of my mom who is in a wheelchair. She lives with my sister and the whole family provides care. My mother has Neuropathy, braces on her legs, and is wheelchair bound. I have helped take care of her for 5 years and she is still going strong. My sister, and the whole family share the responsibilities for we want my mother to live a happy loving life. I understand how important the needs are. While Caring for my mother, I have met so many people with needs. I am currently a employee for Bright Star and help clients when needed. I am also a employee of Care Watchers. I have over 5 years experience. I love working with people and helping. I worked with adults with disabilities for one year with Project Independence. I was a foster care mom for 4 years and opened my own licensed daycare for 3 years. I have been a manager for 15 years and have 26 years of customer service.
I am CPR and first aid Certified. I have proof of a full physical with TB negative. I have a negative drug test, fingerprints, and background check cleared and on file.
I have excellent references. I have worked with Dementia, Stroke, Neuropathy, showers, bathing, and wheelchair and walker assistance. Now that the whole family has a certain role in her care, I'm looking for full-time and whatever days off I have I will help my mother. My family is 100% supportive, and all say I have a gift to help others. My mother especially.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, and I look forward to helping in any way that I can. I have posted my availability, but we can talk about your care hour needs.
