About Julie

I am a married, 53 yr. old mom of three, ages 28, 25, and 19. I homeschooled them through 8th grade. Our son graduated from Butler and works for Google in NY. Our second son earned his Masters in Biblical Studies at Grace College and is a newlywed. Our daughter is double-majoring in Studio Arts & Creative Writing at IWU. I have served as a small group leader/mentor in our church's high school ministry as well as with our infants/toddlers for church, Bible Studies, and MOPS. I have led groups of youth at church camp and youth conferences. I led the girls in my daughter's American Heritage Girls troop, a K-12 Christian scouting program, for 11 yrs. Professionally, I have worked as: an asst. preschool teacher, a special needs teacher asst. for a 4th grader with Down Syndrome, and as a substitute teacher in CA public schools for K-8th. I have nannied all ages - from just hours old through teens - and currently nanny for newborns overnight. I love it!
